Our Android games

Four free games on Google Play, built the way the tools on this site are built: open fast, learn in seconds, finish a run in a minute, and keep your progress on your own device. No account, and no in-app purchases in any of them.

The same idea, on a phone

One Minute Web builds things you can start in a second and stop just as fast. On the web that means a timer, a Pomodoro timer and fourteen browser games. On Android it means four games built to the same brief: open fast, learn in seconds, finish a run in a minute, and keep your progress on your device.

Three of them — SkyGrip, Rungs and Vinehold — are one-input arcade games with a single decision repeated under pressure. Mindful Arcade is the wide one: 31 short games in a single app, including several that started life on this site.

What they all have in common

  • Free, with no in-app purchases. Nothing in any of the four can be bought with money.
  • No One Minute Web account. There is nothing to sign up for and no server holding your scores.
  • Progress stays on the device. Uninstalling removes it, and we hold no copy.
  • Portrait, one hand. Every game is playable with a thumb, on a bus.
  • A run fits a spare minute. None of them punish you for putting the phone down.

Which one should you start with?

If you want variety, start with Mindful Arcade — sudoku, solitaire, block puzzles, memory tests and a Pomodoro timer in one app.

If you want one thing done well, pick by the feel you are after: SkyGrip for momentum and long arcs, Rungs for precise, unforgiving timing, and Vinehold for a slower, more deliberate climb where the hazard is patient.

FAQ

How many Android apps does One Minute Web make?

Four: Mindful Arcade, a collection of 31 offline brain games; SkyGrip, a one-tap swing game; Rungs, a one-tap ladder climber; and Vinehold, a one-thumb vine climber. All four are free on Google Play.

Do the apps cost anything?

No. All four are free and none of them has in-app purchases. They are supported by ads, and in SkyGrip, Rungs and Vinehold the only unavoidable ads are the ones you choose to watch for a reward.

Do I need an account to play?

No. None of the apps asks you to create a One Minute Web account. Progress is saved on your device. SkyGrip can optionally sign in to Google Play Games for leaderboards and to carry your progress to a new phone.

Do the games work without internet?

SkyGrip, Rungs and Vinehold play entirely offline. Mindful Arcade plays its games offline but needs a connection to load ads.

What data do the apps collect?

Scores, settings and progress stay on your device. Google receives advertising and analytics data as described in the privacy policy, which covers all four apps in detail.
